This house is an 1812 Wissahickon Schist stone farmhouse with several additions throughout the years. Sitting right on the Wissahickon park, it was important to bring in elements from nature and the history of the surrounding area.

The Family Room is an addition to the original stone building. It has a lot of natural light so it was important to keep the walls light to accent the wooden framed sashes. Color is brought in through the art and textiles choices. Family heirlooms were used in combination with new pieces to create balance and a modern feel.
