About

Zachary Martin grew up in rural Southern Indiana understanding life through the lens of nature, building numerous forts among pine trees and riding 4-wheelers through corn fields. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where he received a BFA in Painting and a BA in Art History. Through IU’s Painting Department, he traveled to Florence, Italy to study drawing and Italian Renaissance art history. After graduating from college, Zach wanted to take some time to figure out his next step in life. This led him to Ireland, where he lived and worked waiting tables, helping design the Dublin Urban Outfitters store, and answering phones at a preemie baby ward.

After his Irish experience, Zach moved to Philadelphia to attend the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), the nation’s oldest fine arts school and museum.  He graduated in 2009 with a Master of Fine Arts degree and continues to paint and show his work both locally and nationally.

Zach’s love of design has led him to a career in interior design, where he has created eclectic, layered spaces across the country. His designs bring in his love of nature, antiques, and art to create comfortable spaces for memory making.
